Put another one in the books: the Chill gang gathered at a new venue this year, NuNu's in Cochester. Holding to tradition, we got our own room (better for the other patrons), and brought our own wine...lots of it.
The food was excellent and the service was too. Instead of the usual gifts, we opted for a Yankee Swap this year, an idea proffered by Claire and Vicky. Basically an easy way to re-gift the flotsam and jetsam received from earlier occasions. It was made all the more enjoyable after about 12 bottles of wine under our belts...with 8 left to finish off. (and we did).
Concluding "formal business," checks were received for the Big Chill IV deposit, and it can't come too soon.
